Let Me Get This Political: Jesus Doesn’t Ask and Shouldn’t Tell, says Christian Coalition

Break out your credit cards and log on to you paypal accounts, The Christian Coalition needs your support in spreading its message of bigotry and hatred.

By following this link: Link: \”Christian\” Coalition: Don\’t Repeal \”Don\’t Ask, Don\’t Tell\”, you can help the Christian Coalition fight the evil liberals in Washington who want to repeal “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell.’

Just so we’re all clear, “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” isn’t a cutesy way of saying to soldiers, “let’s not make homosexuality an issue, it’s ok to be who ever you are, we just don’t need to talk about it.” No! It’s a disgusting bit of legislation that has to the power to rob US citizens of the privilege of serving in The Armed Forces because they’re gay. Under this law, if a member of The Armed Forces is found to be gay, he or she is dishonorably discharged and then stricken of his or her pension and benefits.

The last time I checked, Jesus spread a message of peace and love, he said radical things like, “love thy neighbor as thy self.” From my memory he didn’t say things like , “hate on those unlike yourself” and “judge freely, my son.” When he died on the cross for all of our sins, I don’t think he whispered to his Apostles, “oh yeah, about that eternal salvation thing, tell the fags I had my fingers crossed.”

Christian Coalition, you should be ashamed of yourselves. It doesn’t matter what color your skin is, what religion you are, or who you choose to love; every American citizen is just as valuable in protecting this country.  You need brave men and women to fight your wars, and it’s absurd to think that anyone should have their rights limited because of their sexual orientation.

The only positive thing I have to report on this subject is that Senat Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) intends to schedule a vote next week on major defense budget legislation that contains “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” repeal language, regardless of any objection from members of the U.S. Senate!

Do you think we can make a change?

About Let Me Get This Queer

I find myself confused by the retardation that plagues peoples' logic. I don't get people who are closed minded, don't have a sense of humor, or find themselves confined by political correctness. I am using this site to create a space for people to share their thoughts, flex their moral compass, and challenge the world to be a better place. A lofty goal, I know. But someday when sanity returns to control and disgusting, entitled people receive the fundamental kharma that is due, we will all rejoice.
