Let Me Get This Queer: Jaguar Doesn’t P*ssy Foot Around!

First Bong Hits, and now the “F” word; it seems that olympic swimmers just can’t catch a break.

Three time Olympic Gold Medal winner, Stephanie Rice,  just lost her sponsorship from Jaguar because of this tweet:

“Suck on that f–gots,”

which she made after Australia’s rugby union team, the Wallabies, defeated South Africa’s Springboks on Saturday.

Stephanie went on to clarify and apologize, saying ” I made a comment on Twitter on Saturday night in the excitement of the moment. I did not mean to cause offence and I apologize.”

But the damage was done.

I guess this is just a lesson to those who don’t think that their words matter. We’ve all probably said things that weren’t meant to be offensive; and I will be the first to say how much I hate being politically correct, but you have to take responsibility for the way you make people feel.

Do I think that Stephanie Rice hates gay people? No. Do I think she was freaking stupid for posting that tweet? Yes.  That’s a very costly lesson, Stephanie.

What do you think?

About Let Me Get This Queer

I find myself confused by the retardation that plagues peoples' logic. I don't get people who are closed minded, don't have a sense of humor, or find themselves confined by political correctness. I am using this site to create a space for people to share their thoughts, flex their moral compass, and challenge the world to be a better place. A lofty goal, I know. But someday when sanity returns to control and disgusting, entitled people receive the fundamental kharma that is due, we will all rejoice.
